ADVOCACY

Senior Advocacy, one of the four programs supported by Senior Resources of Freeborn County, is dedicated to providing assistance and support to older individuals without any discrimination based on race, color, sex, religion, disability, or national origin. This commitment aligns with the regulations set forth by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. To continue offering valuable services, Senior Resources relies on the generosity of the public, bequests, and contributions. The Senior Advocacy Program specifically receives funding from a grant provided by the Southeastern Minnesota Area Agency On Aging and operates as an extension of the Senior Linkage Line. Furthermore, city and county funds and other local donors, contribute to the success of Senior Resources and its programs. These partnerships ensure that older individuals in our community receive the support they need to thrive.

Senior Advocacy offers valuable support and guidance to individuals in
Freeborn County who are 60 years old and above.
