Senior Advocacy

Senior Advocacy is just one of the four programs that Senior Resources of Freeborn County backs. The programs offered by Senior Resources are available to all elderly individuals, regardless of race, color, sex, religion, disability, or national origin, in a non-discriminatory manner. This is in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Senior Resources depends on public support, bequests, and donations. Funding for the Senior Advocacy Program comes from a grant provided by the Southeastern Minnesota Area Agency On Aging and is an expansion of the Senior Linkage Line. Donations are contributed by the city and county funds from Albert Lea, and other local supporters.
